He longs to have adventures and to be the hero. Join Marvin on the space adventure of a lifetime: a trip to the surface of the moon on his homemade rocket, where he meets a strange cast of misfit creatures, learns of infinite peril, and views awesome beauty. Justin Lansing and Joe Mailander have been exploring the outdoors together since they were kids. Now, as the Grammy Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers, they have put this passion for the outdoors at the heart of their musical collaborations. Joe and Justin record and perform family music with a goal to inspire children and their parents to get outside and experience nature. They believe this can motivate kids to gain a greater respect for the natural world, their communities and themselves.
The two-time Parents' Choice Award winners have garnered praise from the likes of NPR's All Things Considered and USA Today, and have been called "two of family music's best songwriters." Their nationwide fan base is drawn to their witty lyrics, strong musicianship and unique folk style. The natural world is at the heart of their Americana folk music, with songs written by campfire and harmonies born on the water. The Okee Dokee Brothers make room for kids to dance, for parents to share stories and for everyone to gain respect for nature, each other and the world we live in.

In a community renowned for its devotion to the arts, Scottsdale has one arts festival that rises above them all. Now in its 48th year, the Scottsdale Arts Festival, held every March during the height of the city's tourist season, has established a reputation as the premier arts festival in the Southwest. It has been named "Best Arts Festival" by Phoenix New Times and one of Art Fair SourceBook's "'Elite 20' Fine Art Fairs."
The Scottsdale Arts Festival showcases 170 jury-selected artists from throughout the United States and Canada, live music on two stages, gourmet food trucks, wine tastings, creative activities for families and children, an online benefit art auction with original works of art donated by Festival artists (donations optional), free admission to the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) and more. The Festival takes place at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and surrounding grounds of the Scottsdale Civic Center, a beautifully landscaped, 21-acre urban park, a short walk from Scottsdale's Old Town and gallery districts. Arizona's glorious spring weather complements the Festival's park-like setting, creating a unique experience that attracts up to 25,000 seasonal and year-round residents and tourists in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
The Scottsdale Arts Festival is produced by the nonprofit Scottsdale Arts, which manages Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and Scottsdale Public Art.
